The Recipe Bin: Caribbean - Salads

    Jamaican Cole Slaw
     

     

  • 4 cups Shredded cabbage
  • ¼ cup Shredded carrots
  • ½ cup Chopped walnuts
  • ½ cup Mayonnaise
  • 2 tbsp Sugar
  • 1 tbsp Cider vinegar
  • 1 tbsp Dry jerk seasoning
  •  

     
    Combine the cabbage, carrots and nuts in a large bowl; set aside. Mix together the mayonnaise, sugar, vinegar, and seasoning. Spoon over cabbage mixture and toss well. Cover and chill before serving.
     

    Makes approximately 8 servings.
